When I found your gallery the other day, I bookmarked it so that I could come back and have a good look. I think your works are really excellent. The characters are unique and well-thought and your techniques are clever and dynamic. There are lots of people who have come up with their own worlds, but you really have the talent to portray it as it appears in your mind to the rest of us. Well done!

Love the imagination and details in your artwork. My favorite
is the skeletal pirate, but my nieces love the one titled
Cataracta. I hope you achieve your dreams. And my nieces think
it would be cool to see your Armarniss on the Disney Channel

I'm afraid I'm not around Elfwood so much now (although I'm still very fond of my first gallery), but spend most of my time over at deviantART. I really appreciate your comment and I'm happy to hear that both you and your nieces like my work. It is all an artist wants to hear, to have their work truly appreciated. Thank you. And as to Armarniss on the Disney Channel, well, who knows. ^_^ "

Beautiful work... I don't suppose you drew any inspiration from artist Tracy Butler? The ones of Lance bear a very strong resemblance to some of her work, although the level of detail is a bit higher. 2 All around, a very nice collection indeed.

21 Leona Preston replies: "Firstly, thank you for the wonderful comments. I really appreciate them considering how long some of the works here took to create. Secondly, and I really hope that I won't sound rude in saying this, but, the whole Tracy Butler issue... has been brought up too many times in the past for me to go through it all again. Tracy and I have discussed the whole issue and recognise our differences, and the issue was delt with several years ago now. Yes, I know that there are similarities, we both have fox protagonists, we both enjoy the Celtic/medieval theme, but to have each others work compared all the time is, understandably, quite exasperating. I can clearly see the difference in my style compared to Tracy's and needless to say, I was drawing my characters in this way years before I even knew of Tracy Butlers artwork. I don't think I have to say any more on the subject. As I mentioned before, this is a very old subject of conversation. I should like to end by apologising for if I sounded rude at all (I assure you, I do not mean to be), and secondly thank you for posting here. I still appreciate the views of every visitor to this page and respect the freedom to express those views as such. =) "

I love your talented work, your gallery has some of my favourite things, Anthros and pirates ^-^. I've always wished for artistic talent but I then decided to go to writing instead (no use letting good ideas get spoiled). Anyways I'm a fan. Hope to see new stuff soon.

Honestly, I don't know why Disney isn't on your doorstep right now begging you to work for them. Your style is truly amazing, I couldn't stop looking at all of your marvelous pieces. The colours you choose flow extremely well with your characters. I adore your style, your characters, and your over-all talent. Seriously, two words: Disney Movie. Keep up the awe inspiring, jaw dropping work!
